House Stuff!

When I was little I use to sing "I'm a big girl now...duh, duh, duh, duh, duh" it had a tune with all the duhs :-) and I so feel like a big girl now!

Jon, Will's friend, let me borrow his 70-300 lens for my camera. Here are some shots that I got. If I were to do this with my lens, this gator would be tiny!

Today, a neighbor told me that DNR just recently took an 8 foot gator out from this pond. Apparently they mated...

House Update

New quilt from Tuesday Morning...I think these are colors are pretty true, I tried all sorts of settings to get this...check out my crummy paint color on the wall (don't worry that will be gone)

Thank heavens for rain...but this is what happens to the yard! I don't think you can see it, but there is practically a river running quickly behind that fence. Now I know why the fence must have 10 feet between them.

Apparently the alligator on the left is "Elvis"... and they never get on the bank closest to the road. I was told you can see deer son the bank, and swimming (um they are dumb)...and in those woods there are wild hogs that people hunt since there are so many of them. The hogs often tear up the banks on this pond, I guess by rolling and digging ?? Not sure.
You can't see this one at all, but I think it was the biggest. I'm not a good estimator, but I thought it looked as long as I am tall! He/She is on the back bank in the middle of this shot. I obviously need another lens!

IKEA Trip

So I just returned from Magic Kingdom...I mean IKEA. Pulling into the place with all the signs was just like being in Orlando and seeing Mickey's ears on the signs! Super exciting.

I left about 2 hours ago and I already want to return and buy more. I really think I can squeeze more in my car!

Rug

Blanket

There were two things sold out that I really wanted. A mirror and another rug.
Then there is this bed...I really think it will fit in the car....

New House

We close July 7th! YAY.
Standing in the living room looking up at the landing/hallway.

This is where it gets a little tricky. I am really not sure which room is where. These are the 4 guest rooms. From the stairway, two bedrooms to the left and two bedrooms to the right. ALL of them have walk-in closets!





Guest bathroom upstairs. Yes 4 bedrooms must share 1 bath...

The closed door in the hallway is a half bath. The first door open, I have no idea what that is...coat closet? The second door is the laundry room leading to the garage.
