Chocolate Pretzels!

Directions

  1. Place the pretzels on baking sheets; place a chocolate kiss or rolo in the center of each pretzel. Bake at 275 degrees F for 2-3 minutes or until chocolate is softened. Remove from the oven. Place an M&M or pecan on each, pressing down slightly so chocolate fills the pretzel. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Store at room temperature.

Peach Cobbler

I knew I was in trouble when Will comes in with a large load of peaches from one of his clients. I thought what will I do with all these?
Then Will asked "Can you make cobbler like my Grandma does it?" My eyes got large...I've never made cobbler and to re-create something your Grandma makes is most likely difficult.

Well I didn't ask if it tastes as good as his Grandma's but I think he likes it!

I used Paula Deen's recipe.

I ate it this morning, and is it suppose to taste like peaches with bread?

Cherry Trifle

I really don't know why I make desserts...I never eat it, I usually don't like it, and Will is on a diet.
But I tried again and gave 1/2 of the trifle to The Taylor Family down the street. It was pretty so I wanted to post it, but I didn't love it. If it had more cherries, and less chocolate I'd had been a fan. ...and yes I tasted it after I gave it the The Taylor's, I hope they enjoyed it more than I did!
I can't give credit for the recipe b/c I found it torn out without the name of the magazine. However, Margo Seegrist, of Shelton, WA sent it in.
