We packed up the whole house and headed for Kiawah County Park. I couldn't figure out how to do this around Jenna's nap time so we just went. Since the high today was 90 we went early, however too early!
The park didn't open until 10 and it was only 9:25. Whoops. So we hung out, we were the 4th car in line to get in. Very quickly after that there was a huge line behind us.
Jenna loved the beach so much. We didn't stay long at all. We've gotta figure out the umbrella and such for an extended stay. This beach had tide pools so Jenna played there for a while. Jenna even met a friend that had the same crawl. Josephine was 11 months. We hung out until the little girl started crying, and Jenna did too -joined right in.
So good, I didn't want it to end. So after her next nap she and I went to the pool!
With this hat we couldn't see what she was doing or her face for most of the trip! I did see her at one point laying on her belly so I know she was eating sand straight off the beach not using her hands.
We changed. Nursed and fell asleep. Slept the whole way home then plus an hour or so while Will rocked her. It was a good day!
